Western Regional Chapter News

Hey there from the Western Regional Chapter!

Our last rally in Camp Verde, AZ over the Halloween weekend was a fantastic rally. We had 23 coaches! Everyone dressed up on Halloween. Great fun! The weather was super we ended up having our socials and our meals outside in a group each night. The hosts Dwayla & Jon Carr and Mariette and Ros De Giaxa Salvi did a fantastic job! Up early making breakfast every day and working their tails off all day getting ready for the dinners. They did have a lot of help from the other Western Regional members in attendance. In our free time several couples got together and took the Jeeps out and some of us played Pickle ball. It was great to see old friends and meet new friends.

We had two American coach owners stop by the rally one night on their way from Moab Utah, Don & Lori Headrick and Thomas & Yung Adams. It was great to meet them. We had five new couples join the chapter during the rally. Great job by everyone and we all had a blast.

We had a very nice Thanksgiving and are in the heat of decorating for Christmas as I write this letter. By the time you read this, the holidays will be behind us, and I hope it was the best of times for you and yours!

Then the next opportunity to meet up with the Western Regional Chapter will be in February for the No Rain Rally in Wildomar, CA hosted by the Adams, and is currently sold-out. This has become an annual event that is always a lot of fun.

Charles and Darla Chase are hosting a rally at Meadows of San Juan Resort, Montrose, CO on September 22nd through September 25th so save the dates! We will have the details and rally sign-up sheet on our website as well as the national website hopefully by the time this newsletter gets to you.

Currently we have 11 coaches from the Western regional Chapter are already signed-up for the National Rally in Cape Hatteras, NC next May.

We completed the planning for the rolling rally from the west coast to Cape Hatteras. I have all the campgrounds and dates all worked out! We leave April 22nd from the Colorado river on the border between California and Arizona and plan to arrive May 17th a few days before the national rally starts. If you are interested in joining us somewhere between the west coast and east coast don’t hesitate to reach out to me at  bob.clapper@rcconstruction.com and I will send you our itinerary.

Best wishes from the Western Regional Chapter…..
